“BEST GIG EVER! Thanks to all who helped get this gig happening I couldn’t be more stoked,” one punter posted on Instagram.

“Had the best time!! They rocked & Brandon is so much hotter in the flesh!! Thanks… for a truly magical night which was a once in a lifetime experience,” posted another.

While a third added: “It’s nice to wake up and know it wasn’t a dream. I’m still amazed that I got to see @thekillers in a 400 capacity crowd. Today I’ll see them in a venue that will house 100,000 people. Life is crazy sometimes.”

The stealth warm-up gig comes ahead of The Killers’ blockbuster AFL grand final performance later today. According to, they’re set to hit the stage at exactly 1.43pm (v specific!)
