Watch Kim Churchill Cover Julia Jacklin For Triple J Like A Version

Kim Churchill has taken on Julia Jacklin’s ‘Don’t Know How To Keep Loving You’ for triple j’s Like A Version this week. It’s pretty AF too. Joined by Boo Seeka’s Ben Gumbleton, the pair pluck away at their acoustic guitars with intermittent pieces of harmonica from Churchill.

Taken from Julia Jacklin’s 2019 release Crushing, Churchill told triple j, “that album really hit me quite hard during that first period of serious COVID isolation.”

“I went back to Merimbula and lived this incredibly quiet life for three or four months and it sort of led me to consider ang go through a lot of emotional stuff I may have been putting aside.”

“So when we got asked to do Like A Version again [‘Don’t Know How To Keep Loving You’] was just so relevant to who I am at this time.”

The pair also performed Kim Churchill’s ‘Nothing Nothing’ together as well. The track was actually written by the pair about eight years ago in Montreal .

You can catch Kim Churchill’s Like a Version and his original, performed with Ben Gumbleton down below, along with his ‘Behind the Like a Version’.
