Watch Kim Churchill Folk-Up A Queens Of The Stone Age Track For ‘Like A Version’

Aussie singer-songwriter Kim Churchill has had a ballsy crack at a Queens Of The Stone Age track on triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment.

After busting out a version of his own earworm ‘Second Hand Car’, the troubadour sunk his folkster teeth into the QOTSA fan-favourite ‘Make It Wit Chu’, in tribute to his one-time drinking buddy Josh Homme.

As always with Like A Version, Churchill gave the classic tune his own unique spin, folking it up with a nylon string acoustic and notably singing the lyric “make it with you” in the main chorus line instead of the iconic “make it wit chu”. #controversial

His cover comes hot on the heels of his new video for ‘Second Hand Car’, which premiered on Music Feeds earlier this week.

Churchill will be releasing his new album Weight_Falls on Friday, 25th August, ahead of a huge national tour across the country.

Have a gander at both his Like A Version performances below, and ICYMI: Queens Of The Stone Age actually dropped a brand new song today themselves.
