Watch Stone Temple Pilots Frontman Crash Karaoke Night At Sydney’s Frankie’s Pizza

Sydney’s doomed rock n’ roll dive bar Frankie’s Pizza By The Slice had an unexpected gatecrasher for its weekly Wednesday night hard rock karaoke sessions this past week.

Stone Temple Pilots frontman Jeff Gutt leapt in for a little lick of Rage Against The Machine’s classic ‘Killing In The Name’ with the house karaoke band, on one of his nights off from touring Australia with nostalgia rock fest Under The Southern Stars.

FYI Frankies has a well-earned rep for playing host to wild cameos from some of rock & metal’s greatest. Tragically the iconic venue’s lifespan is limited, set to face the wrecking ball later this year so the NSW Government can build a new metro train station.

Let’s hope that, with international touring back on the cards, the old girl can squeeze in a few more epic stories like this into its rock n’ roll history book before calling last drinks.

ICYMI Jeff Gutt joined STP on lead vocals four years ago following a lengthy search process, taking over the reigns from legendary late former frontmen, Scott Weiland and Chester Bennington.

Watch him rip som RATM at Frankies in the vid below.
