Watch Tame Impala Play ‘Lucidity’ Live For The First Time Since 2013

Tame Impala have a new record on the way. Fact. When that record will be in our hands, that is yet to be revealed.

Two cuts have been revealed from this new era of Kevin Parker’s solo project. We’ve been given a disco-tinged cut in ‘Patience’ and the supernatural ‘Borderline’ so far, but that’s really as far as we’ve got.

The band have been pretty relentlessly touring these last few months, hitting venues across Europe, the US, and Canada. Last night, they took to the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas and gave the crowd a live version of ‘Lucidity’, something they haven’t done for a few years.

The track features on Tame Impala’s debut record Innerspeaker, and hasn’t been played live by the band since 2013.

Check out a snippet of it and listen out for that sweet, sweet solo riff via Reddit below.
