It’s hard to believe that today marks the first ever time The Presets performed an original and a cover for triple j‘s Like A Version, but today is also our lucky day.
In celebration of Aus Music Month, the electronic legends stepped into the studio and offered up an electrified, synth-filled version of Midnight Oil‘s anthem ‘Power & The Passion’ that also featured a healthy dose of live instrumentation.
On top of that, The Presets also treated listeners to a mashup of old and new tracks of their own, merging HI VIZ cut ‘Feel Alone’ and Beams cut ‘Girl and the Sea’.
The Presets have set themselves up for a huge couple of months, with headlining sets at NYE In The Park and Party In The Paddock to name the very least.
