Australia’s adopted English sons The Wombats have capped off triple j‘s Like A Version covers segment for 2018, with a very Christmas-y cover of Bing Crosby’s ‘White Christmas’.
Covered in tinsel and backed by a small orchestra, The Wombats brought the festive cheer with their cover, before their tour manager stepped out to join the group, while wearing a wombat onesie.
During their time in the triple j studios, the band also performed an orchestral version of their original song ‘Turn’, from latest album Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life.

The Wombats played headline shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane in November, while they were in Australia for Spilt Milk and Grapevine festivals.
