English indie-rockers The Wombats have taken to the triple j studios to cover Aussie singer-songwriter Jarryd James‘ hit single Do You Remember for Like A Version.
Fresh from performing a handful of sideshows around Splendour In The Grass, The Wombats layered guitars over some gritty bass synth for their Do You Remember cover, but stayed true to the original track’s soaring melodies.
While in the triple j studios, The Wombats also put a pretty chill new spin on Be Your Shadow, which is taken from their most recent album, Glitterbug. Catch both performances in full, below.
Jarryd James performed for Like A Version only last month, gracing the world with a soulful cover of Weezer’s Say It Ain’t So.
