Watch: Tom Delonge’s Very Wholesome Blink-182 & Box Car Racer Live Medley

Tom Delonge has played a Blink-182 and Box Car Racer medley onstage during one of his Angels & Airwaves shows and it’s very good. The show was the band’s first since 2012 and was a sold-out celebration at Belly Up in San Diego.

Delong stopped during their set to perform this bad boy. He happily tears through the medley on his acoustic guitar. Picking some real career highlights including Blink’s Untitled hit, ‘I Miss You’, Box Car Racer’s ‘There Is’, and Enema Of The State’s ‘Aliens Exist’ (fitting).

Overnight, Angels & Airwaves released their new single ‘Kiss and Tell’. It came a day early and it’s such a pleasant listen.

On the track, Tom Delonge says, “The beginning of the song is really an ode to the Beach Boys.”

“It opens with three-part harmonies to create an introduction with multi-dimensionality. We wanted to create a sound that had electronic elements right alongside classic rock and pop punk melodic structures.

“Lyrically, this song is specifically about balancing on the edge of a razor blade. Doing something you’re not supposed to be doing, and although you might die while doing it, it’s still very much keeping you feeling alive.”
