In Hearts Wake Announce New Drummer, Reveal ‘Duality’ Tour Supports

One of our most successful heavy music exports in recent memory, In Hearts Wake, are no doubt stoked to announce that Conor Ward, who has been taking on sticks duties for much of the band’s recent tour dates, will now be their official full-time, sworn-in drummer.

Since releasing Skydancer back in 2015, In Hearts Wake have spent much of their waking time supporting the release on the road. Following the sudden departure of founding drummer Caleb Burton, Ward rose to the challenge of filling in live. Since then, he’s proven to be an key ingredient part of the band’s live unit.

Now part of the furniture, Ward will be contributing to the band’s next body of work, the follow-up to Skydancer, which apparently is in the oven right now. As per a video posted by the band (below) of the exact moment Conor found out he made the cut, the dude seems no doubt stoked on the announcement too.

The news came hand in hand with the announcement of support acts for In Hearts Wake’s upcoming Duality dates — that being Columbus and The Brave.
