ABBA To Release First New Music Since 1982

ABBA have announced that they have recorded two new songs together.

The group shared the news on Instagram saying that the four of them entered the studio together for the first time in “35 years”.

The Swedes have been working on an “avatar tour project” which will see them tour together once again as holograms. That experience unexpectedly led them to enter the studio together.

“We all four felt that, after some 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the studio,” they wrote.

“And it was like time stood still.”

It has resulted in two brand new songs. One of them ‘I Still Believe In You’ will be released in December as part of a TV special set to air on NBC and BBC.

“We may have come of age, but the song is new. And it feels good,” they wrote.

Before this, the last song the group ever recorded together was ‘The Day Before You Came’ released in 1982.
