Aerosmith Australian Tour April/May 2013

After a bit of a leak yesterday, Aerosmith have confirmed their first Australian tour in more than two decades with shows along the East Coast in April and May later this year.

Steven Tyler and co. will play a huge gig at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on April 28, before scaling things down a notch and rockin’ out at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Rod Laver Arena at the start of May. The Dead Daisies will be special guests at all three shows.

It is unclear whether any additional shows will be added (you’d presume Sydney won’t get another show) or if Perth, Adelaide or any other cities will be paid a visit by the veteran rockers.

But, if you’re thinking of flying over from any of those places, the Sydney show is definitely looking like the one to be at. Promoter Andrew McManus has turned the ANZ Stadium show into a mini rock festival of sorts, with local stars Wolfmother, Grinspoon, Kingswood, Spiderbait and Diva Demolition all also appearing at the concert, along with The Dead Daisies.

Tickets for all shows go on sale next Monday, May 4 and range between $129-$199.
