Alicia Keys & John Legend Announce Australian Tour, December 2013

Alicia Keys has announced she will be bringing her highly celebrated Set The World On Fire tour to an end, with the final leg to take place Down Under. Keys will be embarking on a run of headlining shows this December joined each night by award-winning crooner John Legend.

Having garnered enough awards and accolades (including world records) to sink a ship, you’d struggle to compile an argument that Keys isn’t one of the biggest artists around, and has been since making her debut with Songs In A Minor back in 2001 at the age of 20. Fast forward to 2013 and Keys has shifted a crazy 30 million albums worldwide and is currently cruising along nicely with her record, the collab-fest Girl On Fire.

Legend, by name and nature, has put Australia at the forefront of his new album cycle, having dropped latest number Love In The Future just last week. So far, the record is shaping up to be a worthy successor to 2010’s Wake Up!, the collaborative effort between himself and The Roots.

My Live Nation members tickets pre-sale begins 2pm this Friday, 13th September. Tickets for all shows will then go on general release 9am Friday, 20th September 20 via http://www.livenation.com.au
