First Artist Announced For Pitch Music & Arts Festival 2018

Written by Tom Williams on September 6, 2017

UPDATE 12/09/2017: The Black Madonna has been announced as the second act for Pitch Music & Arts Festival 2018.

ORIGINAL STORY: Victoria’s Pitch Music & Arts Festival has announced its first act for 2018, naming Berlin-based DJ, techno producer and label owner Len Faki as the debut act to be confirmed for next year’s event.

It’s been three years since Faki last performed in Australia, and the Berghain veteran will be bringing his audio-visual show down under for Pitch in March.

Pitch made its debut earlier this year, and will return for round two in the town of Mafeking in 2018, for four days of sets from local and international electronic acts, art, food and camping.

The inaugural Pitch lineup featured the likes of Toro Y Moi, Gold Panda, Julio Bashmore, Chrome Sparks, Kučka and Client Liaison, and organisers say the 2018 roster will include “some of the most relevant contemporary dance acts to date”.

The full 2018 Pitch lineup will be announced on Tuesday, 3rd October. Stay tuned to Music Feeds for all the details.
