Looks Like AFI Are About To Announce A New Australian Tour

Written by Zanda Wilson on May 9, 2017

UPDATE: AFI have AFI-nally announced their 2017 Australian tour dates.

ORIGINAL STORY: AFI have all but confirmed that they’ll tour Australia this year, with a teaser video emerging today on the social channels of Australan touring company Destroy All Lines.

The teaser clip (below) leaves little left to announce, apart from where and when the shows will be, as it features the band’s classic 2003 single ‘Silver And Cold’ from their album Sing The Sorrow, and the text ‘#AFIAUS2017’.

At the back end of 2016, AFI’s Davey Havok told Music Feeds that the band had already been in talks with promoters to make an Aussie tour happen in 2017.

The latest music we’ve heard from Havok has actually been via his new project, collaborating with members of No Doubt on a new album with their new band DREAMCAR.
