Morrissey Touring Australia In 2012

Written by John Ritchie on August 27, 2012

Morrissey will tour Australia and New Zealand in late December following the close of his 35-date US tour. The news comes via fansite True To You, which promises that “full ticket and venue details will be available within the next week”.

According to the fansite, in the coming months Morrissey will also be making appearances on The Jimmy Fallon Show, The Jimmy Kimmel Show and The Colbert Report.

In June, the band’s drummer Matt Walker quit the group after 6 years with Morrissey. At the time, Walker took to Twitter saying “things are weird and getting weirder”. A statement was released on Morissey’s website, saying: “Our little covered wagon has lost drummer Matt Walker, who was eager to bring his term to an end. No bargainings could persuade him to stay, and his interest drew its last breath at Stockton.”

We’ll keep you posted as soon as soon as the tour dates are confirmed…
