PREMIERE: Billy Fox Gets Metaphorical And Animated In New ‘Avalanche’ Video

Written by Mike Hohnen on August 9, 2016

As he washes his smalls and loads up the van for a run of Australian tour dates in support of his new single Avalanche, rising producer Billy Fox has unveiled visuals for the track’s new video, tapping into everyone’s soft spot for stop/start animation.

The video tells a charming little story of two protagonists who seem all too familiar with the track’s narrative of feeling a little overwhelmed. However, when you have a companion, a burden shared is a burden halved. Fox explained he enlisted the brilliance of Spanish-based animator and director, Alberto Hernández Mérida who pieced together the clip over a two-month period.

Fans will no doubt be stoked with a visual counterpart to sink their teeth into given how well received the single was. Upon its release, the track copped a healthy airing on triple j, community radio and Spotify, eventually finding its way into the ears of fans around the world.

Which, in turn, caused some vibrations Down Under, resulting in Fox supporting the likes of Glass Animals, Boo Seeka, The Aston Shuffle and many more.

Catch the beautiful new video here below, followed by Billy Fox’s upcoming tour dates.
