UPDATE: Rick Ross Has Cancelled His 2018 Australian Tour

ORIGINAL STORY: American rapper Rick Ross (real name William Leonard Roberts II) has announced a 2018 Australian tour.

The influential Miami MC is scheduled to perform in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this September, backed by his expansive back catalogue. See all the tour dates, below.

Rick Ross was scheduled to perform in Australia in 2012, but the tour was eventually cancelled, with a representative for the ‘Hustlin” singer reportedly citing a contractual dispute as the reason for the cancellation.

Ross isn’t a stranger to headlines, either. He was discharged from hospital in March this year after allegedly being found unresponsive in his home.

He was arrested on charges of aggravated battery, aggravated assault and kidnapping in 2015, after apologising for rape lyrics in his song ‘O.U.E.N.O.’ in 2013.

Ross is currently working on his 10th studio album Port Of Miami 2, which is expected to drop later this year.
