Splendour 2013 Set To Live Stream ‘Best Of The Fest’

Virgin Mobile Australia have announced it will be hosting a live streaming channel, capturing the ‘best of the fest’ that is Splendour In The Grass 2013. The overwhelming majority of the population, who missed out on tickets, can now ingest the arts and culture of the event from the warmth of our homes, no gumboots needed.

Come Sunday, 28th July we will be able to kick back and watch performances from Mumford and Sons, Empire of the Sun, Birds of Tokyo, Haim, Dune Rats, Something for Kate, Jake Bugg, Deap Vally, Boy and Bear and more.

This may even be a far superior experience, as we will also be privy to interviews with the acts and all sorts of festival tomfoolery. OK. So it won’t be far superior but it’s the best we’ve got, OK ticket holders? The stream will run for 8 hours on Sunday, 28th July from 2pm AEST until 10pm AEST.

Splendour in the Grass streaming events have been running for the last few years now, and are apparently increasing in popularity. Splendour streamed their Saturday session in 2012, but the line up was nowhere near as impressive as this one.

Check out the hip little trailer for the stream, which will no doubt get you in the mood whilst making you feel a tad left out. I know that feel, bro.
