With US indie rockers The Shins preparing to release their first album since 2012 next year, the band have taken things up a notch, sharing a clip for a brand new song.
Yesterday the band shared a cryptic teaser clip with the bizarre titled I Gleek On Your Grave, but perhaps unexpectedly the song they’ve actually released is called Dead Alive, and it’s a track they debuted during a UK show back in September.
The song’s music video (below) is another creepy effort just in time for Halloween, and features a weird mix of skeletons, eyeballs, televisions and a super creepy model town filled with colourful visuals. There is also a poster for yesterday’s teaser, I Gleek On Your Grave.
The band tweeted when the video was shared, explaining that the new clip is “a halloween gift while you wait for the album”, also sharing the cover art for the new tracl, which you can check out below.
