Mac DeMarco‘s new album Here Comes The Cowboy is out this Friday and today he’s dropped a new song ‘On The Square’ along with a slightly disturbing film clip.
The clip for ‘On The Square’ features Mac meeting himself as this creepy AF, pig-like creature. It stars Tommy Midnight, who watches Mac DeMarco dunk his head into a birdbath filled with milk on a cinema stage.
Directed by William Sipos and Sean Campos, the clip supports Mac’s latest single ‘On The Square’ which is juxtaposingly calm.
Here Comes The Cowboy is the first album to be released on Mac’s record label, Mac’s Record Label and will follow up his 2017 ripper, This Old Dog.
‘On The Square’ will feature on Here Comes The Cowboy along with singles ‘All Of Our Yesterdays’ and ‘Nobody’.
