State of Origin Game 1 kicked off tonight at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville.
The match was off to an explosive start, with The Veronicas providing the pre-show entertainment. They performed a three-song medley made up of their singles ‘GODZILLA’ from their newest album of the same name, ‘4ever’ from their debut album The Secret Life Of… and ‘Untouched’ from their second record Hook Me Up.
Dressed in the most sparkly cheer costumes I’ve ever seen, they aptly donned blue and maroon, just for the occasion. Watch the performance below.
The Veronicas are on the current season of Celebrity Apprentice. In the few weeks since the show has aired on Channel Nine, they’ve accused the show of poorly editing them on not just one or two occasions, but three.
On the music side of things, the sisters are hot off the back of releasing the first of two announced albums, GODZILLA. It’s the first record from The Veronicas in seven years.
HUMAN is due to be released in a couple weeks time on Friday, 25th June.
