Sevendust Announce 2027 Australian Tour

US hard rock and alternative metal veterans Sevendust are heading back Down Under for an Australian tour, bringing their signature blend of bone-crunching grooves, thunderous riffs and soaring melodies to four capital cities in February 2027.

And they’ve recruited some formidable local firepower for the occasion, with Brisbane progressive metal favourites Caligula’s Horse joining the entire run as special guests.

Sevendust – ‘Unbreakable’

The tour will see Sevendust kick things off at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Monday, 15th February, before heading east for shows at Brisbane’s Tivoli on Wednesday, 17th February, Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Thursday, 18th February and Melbourne’s Forum on Saturday, 20th February.

The long-awaited Australian return arrives in support of the band’s 15th studio album, ONE, released earlier this year.

The record marks another chapter in an extraordinary career spanning more than three decades, with Sevendust continuing to refine the potent combination of groove metal muscle, hard rock hooks and emotionally charged songwriting that’s made them one of the genre’s most enduring acts.

Formed in 1994, the Atlanta heavyweights have sold almost eight million albums worldwide, accumulated hundreds of millions of streams and landed three Top 15 debuts on the US Billboard 200.

They’ve also earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Metal Performance, while their collaborative history spans artists and members of acts including Deftones, Creed, Periphery, Xzibit and Daughtry.

But it’s arguably onstage where Sevendust have forged their fiercest rep.

Renowned for their ferocious live performances and the powerhouse vocals of frontman Lajon Witherspoon, the band have cultivated a fiercely loyal international following affectionately known as the 7D Army.

And after years without a proper Australian tour, local fans will finally have another chance to experience the band’s celebrated live show up close.

Joining them will be one of Australia’s most internationally acclaimed progressive metal exports, Caligula’s Horse.

Across six studio albums and extensive international touring, the Brisbane quartet have carved out a reputation for their intricate musicianship, soaring vocals and emotionally rich compositions.

Having shared stages with progressive metal luminaries including Devin Townsend and Opeth, Caligula’s Horse will bring a distinctly expansive sonic dimension to the evening, making for a formidable double bill.

For longtime Sevendust devotees, the February run promises a chance to revisit three decades of heavy music anthems alongside material from ONE.

And for Aussie fans who’ve spent the better part of a decade waiting for the band’s return, it’s been a long time coming.
