Just ahead of the release of their new album Fortress, hard rock advocates and Soundwave 2014 features Alter Bridge lent us their bass man Brian Marshall to speak to Music Feeds for our latest podcast episode.
Fortress, due out this Friday, 27th September, has some big, rockin’ shoes as the follow up to 2010’s chart topping AB III. Once again employing the help of studio dweller Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette, Brian explained the other influences on the album, as well as all the inner workings that led to the creation of Fortress.
The band’s next Australian jaunt has already been confirmed for Soundwave, the second time Alter Bridge has made the journey for the festival. Brian gave us some feedback on why their Australian shows do so well, and he seems to be just as excited for their return as the band’s adoring Aussie fan base.
