Sydney rapper Suburban makes work that is inspired as much by Limp Bizkit as it is Logic.
The genre-fluid artist’s latest track ‘Let It Flow’ is the second taken from his upcoming DENT EP, a personal track that addresses a friend’s attempt to take their life. Rapping over heavily distorted guitar riffs, the song explores the frustrations one feels when watching a loved one experience pain, written by someone who has made a similar journey themselves, desperately pleading for them to connect.
“Let me help you,” the rapper urges towards the end of the track.
Listen to ‘Let It Flow’ below. Suburban will be heading out on the road next month, supporting fellow nu-metal act RedHook on their Melbourne and NSW dates (Sydney is already SOLD OUT).
