All-Female Lineup Announced For So Frenchy So Chic Festival 2019

So Frenchy So Chic festival has announced an all-female music lineup for 2019, in a major first for the annual Australian event.

Headlined by French ‘Ta Douleur’ singer Camille Dalmais, the lineup also features dance pop artist Yelle (Julie Budet), the soulful Clara Luciani and French pop act Cléa Vincent, who will all perform in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney in January.

Speaking about the all-female lineup, So Frenchy So Chic Founder Jean-Francois Ponthieux says the event “has always surfed the zeitgeist and never more so than 2019”.

“France has become one of the world’s most vibrant contemporary music centres and women artists are at the forefront of that revolution,” he says.

So Frenchy So Chic first began in Melbourne eight years ago, and organisers are again promising the “crème de la crème of the French foodie scene” at next year’s events.

The boutique festival is also a family-friendly event, and kids 12 and under can enter for free.
