That is such a calm title for the level of excitement I’m feeling right now. And that is surely not even half as much as Blink 182‘s Brisbane fans must be feeling, as they have received the first confirmed Sidewave.
Update 11/10: Blink-182 Sidewaves officially announced
Tickets just simply walked out the door for the Brissy and Melbourne legs of the Soundwave Festival, so this will be great news for all the banana benders who missed out. Maddah has confirmed tickets will be between $95 and $110, which doesn’t seem too unreasonable considering this will be the first Blink 182 show in Australia since ’04.
Sydney and Melbourne, you guys can also expect a cheeky visit from the pop punk kings as Maddah is currently working out the logistics for getting the trio (yes, all three, no session drummer) to a venue near you, and expect tix to cost around the same amount.
All of the gigs will be all-ages, and given the huge selection of talent on the festival to choose for support slot, you can tell it’s going to be one of those shows you’ll hate yourself for missing.
