Blink 182 Australian Tour – Soundwave 2013 Sidewaves

Written by Mike Hohnen on October 11, 2012

For a moment there it was looking pretty scary, but once again Blink 182 have pulled through and declared their run of headlining shows in Australia. It even feels nice to write that.

It’s the tour that’s 10 years in the making, and one that was looking like it would never happen. The logistics and the obstacles overcome for this to take place are no small matter, but showing their love for their long-term neglected Aussie fan base, Blink 182 have fucked it all off to return Down Under.

Releasing their first EP back in 1992, it’s effectively been 20 years since we first met Blink, with the band spending most of that time at the top. After a devastating hiatus, and a near-death tragedy, the band is reportedly better than ever, gearing up to release the so called ‘album of their career’. And it is in this perfect form that they will be performing for us.

Alright, enough out of me. The dates you’ve be waiting for, the Blink 182 Soundwave 2013 sidewaves:
