Bloc Party’s Kele, Hermitude & More To Play Efterski Music And Winter Sports Festival

In an Australian first, Thredbo’s Alpine Village will this September play host to the inaugural Efterski, four days of music and winter sports. The first line up of musical artists has been announced today, and it’s jam-packed with a wide range of talent, from EDM to indie to rock.

Headlining the maiden event will be frontman of UK indie rock giants Bloc Party Kele, playing a DJ set on his third trip Down Under in 14 months. As they continue their rise to the top, hip hop duo Hermitude have been added as a key ingredient, as well as the constantly vibing RÜFÜS and the people’s favourite Alison Wonderland, who will be busting out her DJ set.

Melbourne indie lords World’s End Press will be upping the rockier side of things as well as Gold Coast punk rats Bleeding Knees Club. The full line up below is definitely worth your time poring over.

On top of all this, Efterski will be parading a hefty dose of winter sports pros who will all be cutting sick for your pleasure. Any lulls you might hit between acts will be blown apart by the steezy flips and twists of One Hit Wonder Big Air free-skiing competition, bringing some of the world’s best Down Under for your amusement.

Check out the line up of artists below and have a look at the announce video and the official page for more info.
