Meet Off Judy: a Bundjalung/Byron Bay-based duo who are making waves with their infectious fusion of indie rock, pop-punk and vulnerable lyricism.
Their latest single, ‘Lean In’, is the perfect demonstrator. Produced and mixed by Alain Decarne (Les Krills, Tropical Zombie), the track treads the lines between folk, punk, and poetic storytelling, with sun-drenched riffs, backbeat-driven rhythms and a big uplifting message at its heart.
Off Judy – ‘Lean In’
“This song is about embracing where you’re at, letting go of the past and accepting that you never really know what’s going on or what to do next – so just lean into it,” vocalist Finn Mcildowie explains.
Along with touring the UK and Europe, Off Judy have also supported the likes of The Smith Street Band, Skegss, DZ Deathrays, Pacific Avenue and The Pretty Littles on home turf.
