We know he’s been ruled out of Big Day Out 2014, and it’s probably safe to say he won’t make the cut for Soundwave 2014 but that doesn’t mean we won’t be serviced with a tour from City And Colour soon. Dallas Green is currently toying with the idea of announcing a headlining tour Down Under, suggesting a date as soon as July.
Taking to twitter, the vocalist puts it to his Aussie followers whether or not July will suit them. By the looks of things the month of the tour is irrelevant, they just want it to happen ASAP. It’s high time the band toured Australia, what with their new record The Hurry And The Harm and new-found focus.
In recent interviews Green has expressed a dire need to get here, regardless of having the BDO door close on them. City And Colour have easily outgrown the label of ‘side project’ so despite having success on the festival run with Groovin The Moo 2012, it seems it’s time to come down and test their own pulling power.
