Courtney Barnett Australian Tour 2014

Melburnian singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett has announced a six-date Australian tour for September and October 2014, her only headline tour for this year, off the back of sold out shows and huge festival appearances across the UK and USA.

Performing as a four piece across Hobart, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Courtney Barnett and The Courtney Barnetts will be supported at all shows by bluesy loop-pop musician D.D. Dumbo.

Barnett’s debut album is due for release in 2015, and will follow 2013’s double EP A Sea Of Split Peas. In April this year Barnett announced on Facebook that she had finished recording the album with a “bunch of weirdos”.

Barnett announced her first ever New Zealand show only yesterday, to take place at Auckland’s King’s Arms on Wednesday, 17th September. Barnett also recently shared a new single by the name of Pickles From The Jar (below), which is taken from a forthcoming compilation album being released by Barnett’s own label Milk! Records.

After performing at Splendour In The Grass later this month, Barnett will return to the USA for another run of festivals, followed by a North American co-headline tour in October with San Fermin and a European tour in November.

Courtney Barnett’s 2014 Australian tour begins in Hobart on 25th September and wraps up in Brisbane on 11th October. Full tour and ticket details below.
