Dan Sultan Announces ‘Most Intimate Tour Yet’ To Road-Test New Songs

Dan Sultan is set to get up-close-and-personal with fans on his most intimate tour to date. The Melbourne troubadour is hitting the road on a ‘Pop-Up Tour’ that will see him road-test new songs from his forthcoming album.

Sultan will be performing in solo mode this April and May at some cosy venues across Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney and finishing up in his hometown of Melbourne.

As well as a snug audience with the great man & his brand spankin’ new material, fans can also expect to hear most recent single ‘Magnetic’ performed live alongside a repertoire of hits from across Sultan’s hefty catalogue.

Punters who sign up at Sultan’s official website will be able to get their digits on early-bird tickets to his Pop-Up Tour from this Wednesday, 1st March. Otherwise, tickets go on sale to the general public from 10am Wednesday, 15th March.

Meanwhile, ahead of the tour, the ARIA-winning tunesmith will be jetting off on a humanitarian trip to Kenya for a week in partnership with The Thin Green Line Foundation — a charity that works to protect the welfare of Park Rangers in low-income countries and conflict zones worldwide — to help pull-off a world-first cultural exchange program with a group of Indigenous Australian Rangers.

“I’m really excited to be going to Kenya for this great cause,” Sultan says. “I’m looking forward to seeing another culture, and without the Thin Green Line I probably wouldn’t be able to experience anything like this. I’m also eager to get back on the road with my fans and see what these new songs sound like live.”
