Eminem Shares Free 66-Song ‘Shady Classics’ Mixtape

Shady Records, the label co-founded by rapper Eminem, has released a huge 66-track free mixtape titled Shady Classics, featuring some of the label’s best material, songs from Eminem’s back catalogue and tracks which didn’t make it onto his new compilation album Shady XV.

The Shady Classics mixtape was collated by American DJ and radio host DJ Whoo Kid. While it does feature some Eminem freestyles, the rapper’s manager and Shady Records co-founder Paul Rosenberg has told fans not to expect previously unheard material.

“There’s not a bunch of new stuff on there or anything. That would be insane to release a 66-song album,” Rosenberg told MLive. “I don’t know why anybody thought we were doing that; it’s sort of a compendium of the material we’ve released that we didn’t have room for on the greatest hits that we really like.”

Eminem classics such as Girls, his version of 50 Cent’s Wanksta, and D12’s Git Up are all featured on the mixtape, alongside newer tracks such as Detroit Vs. Everybody and the Sia-featuring Guts Over Fear. More than a dozen 50 Cent songs are also featured on the release.

Shady XV is released internationally on 24th November, and will feature 12 new songs. Listen to or download the Shady Classics Mixtape in full, below.
