You can tell winter is coming to an end when the summer festival lineup begins: a joyous time of the year indeed. Last week, Falls announced the first round of artists to appear on the bill, and now we have the second round.
The list is a mix of local and imported talent, including UK indie rock outfit Bombay Bicycle Club, and fellow countrymen and laptop pop heroes Hot Chip. Fronting the alternative side of things will be Maximo Park, also from the UK. First Aid Kit, a Swedish group known for their awesome Fleet Foxes cover, will also be making the trip down for the NYE event.
There will be plenty of local flavour at the festival too, with Hilltop Hoods, Brisbane’s rising stars Millions, and EDM up-and-comers Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.
The new additions will be joining the likes of Best Coast, Boy & Bear and The Flaming Lips, who were previously announced. Ticket Ballots have been opened, so if you want to secure yourself some tickets click here.
