It’s all happening in the Field Day camp this evening, with organisers announcing a fistful of lineup additions and unveiling the official set times for the 2019 event.
House DJ Dena Amy, plus Mowgli May, Ninajirachi & Tayla Parx have all been added to the bill, alongside triple J Unearthed competition winners Kayex, joining a monster roster of artists the likes of CHVRCHES, Cardi B, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Amy Shark, Flight Facilities, Alice Ivy and more.
Dena Amy, Mowgli May and Kayex will be opening up the festivities at midday on New Years Day, with the action spread across three stages at Sydney’s Domain.
Things look pretty clash-free with the major artists, with only Amy Shark going head-to-head against Duke Dumont at 5.45pm and 5.55pm respectively.
Rap kween Cardi B will hit the Centre Field stage at 7.15pm, followed by Flight Facilities at 8.20pm and RÜFÜS DU SOL at 9.45pm.
It comes after Atlanta rappers Migos cancelled their Australian tour and Field Day slot, with organisers announcing Senegalese American rapper Sheck Wes and 20-year-old Jarad Ethan Higgins (AKA Juice WRLD) as replacements.
