Good Times Festival Confirms Lineup And Dates For 2022 Event

Good Times Festival, held in the southern Riverina region of NSW, is launching in February 2022. The first lineup announcement is here, featuring a host of blues and roots, funk, rock and indie specialists.

Josh Teskey & Ash Grunwald lead the way, playing songs from their collaborative LP, Push the Blues Away. Josh’s Brother and regular bandmate Sam Teskey is also on the lineup, and he’ll be premiering selections from his debut solo album, Cycles.

Festival exemplars Cash Savage & The Last Drinks will provide a set of hard rock and blues-punk, while Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, the country’s premier funk and soul combination, are also on board. Melbourne instrumentalists Surprise Chef, jangle-pop crew Floodlights and blues singer-songwriter Benny Walker complete the first lineup announcement.

Good Times will take place over the weekend of Saturday, 12th and Sunday, 13th February. It’s an all ages, family friendly event held in the town of Tocumwal, NSW, which sits along the Murray River just north of the Victorian border.

The festival will more or less engulf Tocumwal for the duration of the weekend. Deniliquin St in the town centre will close to traffic on the Saturday, giving rise to a Speakeasy Bar hidden in a heritage-listed building, a fortune teller in an Antiques Store, and a hard-fought pub backgammon contest.
