Here Are Triple J’s Most Played Acts Of 2019

Your music-loving m8s at triple j have crunched the numbers to reveal the list of the most-spun artists on the j-waves in 2019.

It’s that time of year when we take a look back at the year that was, and the list of top 50 most-cranked artists follows on from other fun, fresh recaps such as the biggest Like A Versions of 2019 and the 2019 album poll.

And, #spoileralert: there’s definitely a correlation between all three.

Nearly two-thirds of triple j‘s most-played list is made up of artists from down under (a healthy 66%), but the top spot was claimed by alt-pop kween Billie Eilish, who as you’ll recall unleashed her huge debut album this year before following it up with a pair of fresh singles.

It’ll be interesting to see if there’s much correlation between this list and the eventual Hottest 100 rankings.

Catch triple j’s most played acts of 2019 below.

And ICYMI the 2019 edition of the triple j Hottest 100 will go down on Saturday, 25th January 2020, and the early predictions are already coming in.
