Japanese metal punx SiM have announced their first headline tour down under. The four-piece will be delivering their trademark blend of ska, punk, metal and reggae to audiences across the East Coast, with a trio of dates locked in for September 2024.

They’ll be coming armed with their new album, PLAYDEAD,  kicking off the tour on Thursday, 12th September at The Zoo in Brisbane, before hitting Sydney’s Crowbar on Saturday, 14th September and closing things out on Sunday, 15th September at Max Watt’s in Melbourne.

SiM – ‘RED’

Hailing from Shonan, Kanagawa in Japan, SiM have released six full length albums since forming in 2004, alongside lending their material to video games and a stack of animes.

After almost two decades of existence, SiM exploded onto the international scene last year when their single ‘The Rumbling’ was tapped as the theme song for the anime Attack On Titan. Their recent single ‘RED’ was used as the theme song for the new season of the Netflix anime series Kengan Ashura.
