Jim Carrey, Squid Game’s HoYeon Jung Co-Star In The Weeknd’s New Music Video

The Weeknd has shared a music video for the Dawn FM track ‘Out Of Time’. ‘Out Of Time’ is the fourth track from Dawn FM to get an accompanying visual, following ‘Sacrifice’, ‘Take My Breath’ and ‘Gasoline’.

The new clip was directed by Cliqua and stars The Weeknd’s Abel Tesfaye opposite South Korean actor, HoYeon Jung. Jung is known for her portrayal of the North Korean defector,  Kang Sae-byeok, in the hit Netflix show, Squid Game.

Jim Carrey also makes a cameo. ‘Out Of Time’ is one of three Dawn FM tracks to feature spoken vocals from Carrey. He appears towards the end of the video, signalling a shift from frivolous fun to a more sinister feeling.

Dawn FM is The Weeknd’s fifth official studio album. It came out on Friday, 7th January, 2022, and debuted at #2 in the US Billboard 200. It made it to #1 in Australia and the UK, and is currently sitting at #25 in the ARIA Top 50 after 12 weeks on the chart. Watch the ‘Out of Time’ video below.

Last week, Jim Carrey announced he was “probably” retiring from acting. He told Access Hollywood’s Kit Hoover, “I’m being fairly serious. It depends—if the angels bring some sort of script that’s written in gold ink that says to me that it’s going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road. But I’m taking a break, yeah.”
