Melbourne fuzzbox abusers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have announced an extensive run of headline dates to celebrate their fourth full-length album in 18 months, Oddments. The 17-date Oddments tour will include stops at Secret Garden, Golden Plains, and The Gum Ball festivals.
The band are a recent addition to the much-loved Gum Ball festival, which takes place in ‘Dashville’ in Lower Belford NSW. The family-oriented boutique festival sees King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard join a stellar 10th anniversary lineup including the Hoodoo Gurus and Jinja Safari.
The boys announced the release of Oddments early last month, with a release date slated for Friday, 7th March via Flightless / Remote Control Records. The album has already yielded the band’s patriotic new single, Vegemite, the video for which, readers can check out below.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will kick off their Oddments tour with appearances at Secret Garden and Golden Plains, before moving on to Perth’s Rosemount Hotel and Mojo’s Bar, Fremantle From there, shows in Melbourne, Sydney, as well as regional Victoria and New South Wales await.
