Following on from their announcement earlier this month that they’d be reforming to play shows, Kyuss have just announced Australian tour dates!!!! FUCK YEAH!!!
Technically touring under the name Kyuss Lives, the band features original members John Garcia, Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork, Josh Homme being either too busy or unwilling to join the motley crew. Heading over in May next year to, I quote ‘fuck shit up and fuck you up,’ this is some of the most exciting news I’ve heard in fucking ages.
You can read more about the reformation here, but the long and short of it is that after Garcia played a few shows across Europe as Garcia Plays Kyuss, the sheer exuberance from fans pretty much forced the band to get back together.
