Listen To Run The Jewels New Collab With Royal Blood

Rap and rock have collided in the very best way this morning. Run The Jewels have teamed up with Royal Blood to deliver a remixed ‘The Ground Below’.

‘The Ground Below’ is lifted from Run The Jewels’ RTJ4. The original definitely had rock inspo throughout with thumping percussion and guitar sounds.

So, when remixing the track with Royal Blood, it’s become something else entirely. Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr sings around the bars in the track, “Your love never meant much to me!”.

The guitars are heavier and grungier and the percussion is turned down a bit, to make way for the pristine vocals.

You can listen to their new take on ‘The Ground Below’ below.

Run The Jewels recently shared ‘No Save Point’, a single written for the Cyberpunk 2077 video game.

Royal Blood recently shared their new single ‘Trouble’s Coming’. It was their first new single since their 2017 album How Did We Get So Dark?.
