Listen: Transplants Debut New Single ‘In A Warzone’

Tim Armstrong‘s punk-rap supergroup Transplants have dropped their first single from their upcoming album of the same name, In A Warzone, via stream and also as a free download.

The San Diego outfit, made up of Armstong as well as Blink 182‘s Travis Barker and rapper Skinhead Rob, reunited in 2010 after a 4-year hiatus. The band claimed the new record was almost ready for release last October, followed by a Facebook post last month citing a May 2013 release.

Delays aside, no-one could accuse Tim Armstrong of snoozing – his prime project Rancid announced that work had commenced on their new album back in February, while his OTHER other project, Tim Timebomb, has released a song a DAY since October last year.

In A Warzone will be Transplants first studio album in almost 8 years, and they’ll tour behind the release in America this June, supported by Rancid and Crown Of Thornz.
