UPDATE: Lorde has now announced a set of 2017 Australian headline tour dates.
ORIGINAL STORY: New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde will play her first Australian headline show since 2014 in July this year, after dropping her new album Melodrama in June.
Lorde will perform an “exclusive” and “intimate” Aussie show as part of Nova’s Red Room series on Thursday, 6th July, where she’ll be showing off material from Melodrama for the very first time down under.
The exact location of the show is still to be announced, but fans can win tickets to the show by listening to Nova, with a winner announced each day on Kate, Tim & Marty’s drive show. There will also be others chances to win during Smallzy’s Surgery.
Optus customers can also register their details here for a chance to score tickets. Tickets aren’t available for purchase.
Lorde hasn’t announced any other shows for her upcoming visit to Australia. She was tipped to headline this year’s Splendour In The Grass lineup, so fans got pretty pissed when she wasn’t announced on the roster.
Earlier this week, Lorde debuted two new Melodrama songs live.
