Mariah Carey November 2014 Australian Tour Announced

International superstar Mariah Carey has added an Australian leg to her previously announced The Elusive Chanteuse Show world tour and will be touring the country this coming November.

Carey will play six shows in Australia, kicking things off in Perth on November 2nd, followed by arena shows in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney. She’ll also play two A Day On The Green dates, at Rochford Wines in Victoria’s Yarra Valley and Sirromet Wines in Mt. Cotton, just outside of Brisbane.

Carey will be returning to Australia after a three-show east coast tour in 2013, armed with tunes from her latest record Me. I am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse. This will be her first national Australian tour since 1998, when she visited off the back of her sixth studio album, Butterfly, the anniversary of which she has just celebrated.

Carey, and her five-octave vocal range, is sure to deliver an exciting mix of tunes for fans, including some of her largest hits and never-before-performed selections from her latest record.

UPDATE 30/09/14: Melbourne singer-songwriter Nathaniel has been announced as the support act for the Australian leg of Mariah Carey’s The Elusive Chanteuse Show world tour. The 2012 X-Factor finalist will be airing hits like You, You’re Beautiful, and his latest smash, Live Louder.

“Being the support act for the beautiful Mariah Carey is definitely a career highlight to date,” said the Soulfest-bound singer. “She has been an idol of mine for as long as I can remember. Even as a male singer, her voice makes me want to be the best vocalist I can be.”
