Members of Jet, Spiderbait, Powderfinger & You Am I to Tour Led Zeppelin IV in 2024

Australian Rock Collective (ARC) has announced a tour for June 2024 across Australia. Celebrating the iconic Led Zeppelin IV album, this marks ARC’s return after their successful 2023 tour. The supergroup, comprising Darren Middleton (Powderfinger), Mark Wilson (Jet), Davey Lane (You Am I), and Kram (Spiderbait), will perform the album in its entirety, including hits like ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and ‘Black Dog.’

The 2024 tour starts in Newcastle and includes stops in Maryborough, Caloundra, Toowoomba and Brisbane, as well as Tweed Heads, Thirroul, Sydney, Albury, Canberra, Melbourne and Perth. ARC will play the full album, released in 1971, followed by other Led Zeppelin classics. Details are provided below.

Led Zeppelin – ‘Stairway To Heaven’

ARC’s forthcoming tour, celebrating Led Zeppelin IV, follows their recent tribute to Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon. The focus of the forthcoming tour is a significant departure from ARC’s previous jaunt, showcasing their versatility. The tour represents a continuation of their unique approach to honouring classic rock albums.

Led Zeppelin IV, released on 8th November, 1971, by Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and John Paul Jones, was produced by Page at England’s Headley Grange. Its informal recording setting fostered creative experimentation.

This untitled album, symbolised by four icons, features a version of ‘When the Levee Breaks.’ It’s Led Zeppelin’s most successful album, selling over 37 million copies worldwide and is frequently ranked among the greatest albums of all time, contributing to their 1995 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.
