Blue Mountains psychedelic rockers Cloud Control will be bringing the hot streak they’ve been on since the release of their highly acclaimed sophomore studio effort, Dream Cave, into our beloved Music Feeds Studio this Friday for a highly anticipated instalment of Music Feeds LIVE.
Last month, fresh off well-received appearances at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, the band kicked off an extensive run of Australia-wide free acoustic shows. The tour accompanies the release of an acoustic re-recording of the band’s second album, which they’ve titled Dream Cave Unplugged.
“When we were writing the album most of the songs would start off on a laptop, writing beats and gathering ideas. But when we were getting closer to recording, we spent a lot of time playing the songs unplugged… in my living room in London,” frontman Alister Wright told FasterLouder.
“We wanted to do that to make sure the songs worked in a really classic way,” Alister added. To see the band bring that classicism to life, tune in right here around 3:30pm this Friday, 4th April when Cloud Control come into Music Feeds Studio for a special performance and a quick interview.
