The Orwells have announced Australian headline dates on top of their already scheduled Aussie festival appearances later this year.
These shows will be the Chicago rockers’ first in Australia, and come off the back of their debut album Terrible Human Beings.
Prior to today’s announcement the band had already been announced on the lineups for Wollongong’s Yours & Owls Festival and the Central Coast’s Sweaty Palms festival.
The Orwells have spent the year playing huge festivals in Europe and the US, including Bonnaroo and Governor’s Ball, and later this year they’ll tour with Weezer and Pixies.
Before that, however, they will head down under for eight shows — with New South Wales alone getting FIVE of those.
