Placebo Won’t Be Rescheduling Their Cancelled Perth Show

Placebo will not be rescheduling their show at Perth Arena, which was cancelled at the last minute earlier this month.

In a statement to Music Feeds, Placebo’s Australian tour promoters TEG Live say the band “are unable to reschedule their Perth Arena concert”.

“Every effort was made to try to find an alternative date but this has not proved to be possible,” they say.

“Placebo extends their apologies and deep thanks to their Perth fans for their well wishes, patience and understanding and hope to be able to return to Perth in the not-too-distant future.”

TEG Live had previously told Music Feeds that Placebo were hoping to reschedule their Perth show for a new date at the end of their current Australian tour, which still has shows remaining in Newcastle and Canberra.

Anyone who purchased tickets to Placebo’s cancelled Perth show can now receive full refunds from their point of purchase.
